Terms of Service
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sigtake platform, website and APIs (the "Service"), operated by Sigtake, Inc. ("Sigtake", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.
2. The Service
Sigtake ingests alerts from your systems, deduplicates them, and routes notifications to your teams via email, SMS, Microsoft Teams and in-app channels, including website uptime and signal monitoring. The Service is currently in early access: all plans are free of charge, features may change, and plan limits described on our website may be adjusted as the product evolves. We will give reasonable notice before introducing paid plans.
3. Accounts and organizations
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, API keys and any two-factor authentication devices, and for all activity under your account.
- Each organization's data is isolated; you may only access organizations you have been granted access to.
- Notify us immediately at help@sigtake.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
- attempt to access data of other organizations or circumvent tenant isolation, authentication or rate limits;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- use notification channels (including SMS) to send unsolicited or abusive messages;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties without our prior written consent.
5. API usage
API keys are issued per team and are rate limited. Keys are secret: the full key value is shown once at creation and must be stored securely. We may throttle or suspend keys that exceed their limits or that are used in violation of these Terms.
6. Your data
You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service (alerts, signal readings, monitor configurations and related content, "Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Notifications
You are responsible for obtaining any consent required from the recipients you configure (including recipients outside your organization) to receive notifications through the channels you enable. Standard carrier charges may apply to SMS messages. Delivery of notifications depends on third-party providers and networks and is not guaranteed.
8. Availability and support
During early access the Service is provided without an uptime commitment and support is provided on a best-effort basis via help@sigtake.com. Service level agreements, where offered, will be described in the applicable plan when paid plans become available.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and branding, is owned by Sigtake and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or source code beyond the limited right to use the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable prior notice where practicable). Upon termination we will delete or return Customer Data as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Sigtake is a notification and monitoring tool and does not replace your own operational judgment; you remain responsible for responding to incidents affecting your systems.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sigtake will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including missed, delayed or undelivered alerts or notifications. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim (or USD 100 if you have paid nothing).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you (for example by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
